The Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival returns 25-27 September 2026 for its 72^nd year. Founded to celebrate the start of the native oyster season (September–April), the festival is one of Galway’s most iconic events, bringing locals and visitors together to celebrate our oyster heritage, maritime traditions, and world-class hospitality.
