Tickets can be collected at theTicket collection desk just before you arrive for each event. If you wish to collect your tickets in advance the following are the ticket desk opening times:
- Friday September 27th Opening Night– Ticket desk open for collections from 12 noon, Doors open at 7pm, Ticket desk closes at 10pm.
- Saturday September 28th World Oyster Opening Competition – Ticketdesk open for collections from 12 noon – Doors open at 2:00pm – Ticket desk closes at 6:30pm in Festival Marquee.
Come and join us at 1.30pm for the ‘Competitors Parade’ through the streets of Galway on your way to the Festival Marquee for the World Oyster Opening Competition – Beginning at Eyre Square and winding its way down Shop Street, through the Latin Quarter and finishing at 2pm at the Festival Marquee.
- Saturday September 28th Mardi Gras – Collections and sales available from ticketdesk in Nimmo’s Pier between 2pm and 6:30pm and then on-the-door at The House Hotel from 8pm (Mardi Gras Venue no 1) and The Cornstore at 9pm (Mardi Gras venue no 2).
- Sunday September 29th Féile Bia na Mara – A FREEFamily Fun day featuring our ‘Spotlight on the Environment’ which aims to deepen our understanding of the environment around us and is partnered with Hope it Rains|Soineann nó Doineann. There is a mixture of talks, workshops and interactive displays to suits all ages and interests. The BIM Aquaculture Remote Classroom will also be on site from 12noon – 5pm. There is also the ‘Wild Atlantic Tastes’ a line-up of cooking Demo’s with locally based award winning chefs, Frank O’Connor – McSwiggan’s, JP McMahon from Cava Bodega and Tartare Café & Wine Bar, Martin O’Donnell – WEST @ The twelve Hotel, Bryan Danker – The Brassiere on the Corner, Ultan Cooke – Meyrick Hotel and John Hardiman – Counterpoint – Doors open at 12 midday
