Galway Oyster Festival

In celebration of this year’s Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival, The Latin Quarter are inviting you to come along and join in on their Seafood Taster Trail which takes place on Saturday 24th September from 2pm to 4pm.

The west coast of Ireland is a true treasure trove of seafood. The Latin Quarter Seafood Taster Trail is a great way to taste some of this wonderful bounty.

Participating food outlets in Latin Quarter will be creating mini seafood plates so that you can come and experience the seafood that is on offer right in the heart of Galway City. “It is another way for people to come along and get into the festival spirit of The Galway International Oyster & Seafood Festival” explains Aoife Qualter of The Latin Quarter.

From 2pm to 4pm the restaurants will be serving up seafood plates at just €5 per plate. Why eat in one restaurant when you can experience them all by following the seafood trail. This is all about experiencing tasty bites for a number of different restaurants in The Latin Quarter and by moving from place to place, sampling as you go. There will be plenty to choose from in the day, just make sure that you come along.
